The Provincial budget announced on Wednesday is already characterized by the media as a Post-Secondary Education Budget. Our sector has never before come together so uniformly and we were awarded with the single largest budget commitment for colleges since our inception” says GBC President Anne Sado.

 
More than 24,500 people have signed the petition urging the McGuinty Government to invest in college education and the future success of Ontario's college graduates. Each and every name is being delivered to Premier McGuinty and his government. Read more at

George Brown College Graduate Success Stories

   After graduating from high school, I was confused about what I wanted to do with    my life. I knew I had to go to school but didn't know for what or where. My mom    mentioned the name George Brown College and told me to check it out, considering    that's where my uncle and aunt studied when they first arrived in Canada. George Brown College Doors Open Toronto, Saturday May 28, 10 am to 4 pm

For the first time, George Brown College's St. James campus at 200 King St. E. will be part of Doors Open Toronto, a celebration of Toronto's culturally or architecturally significant buildings. George Brown's main St. James campus building was built in 1874 as the Christie, Brown and Co. biscuit factory, and its beautiful exterior brickwork and arched windows have been preserved.
